"Celebrian" was modeled directly onto the stone using polymer clay. Her name is Elvish and means "silver queen"
For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by stones. For me, their countless shapes and colors and the energy they radiate have a beauty all of their own.
In order to express this beauty, I started to give faces to the stones.
Each stone gets its own character. I never know exactly what it should look like beforehand and I'm sometimes surprised myself at what comes out in the end.
Celebrian was color matched to the natural stone using acrylic paints. This contains particles that glitter silver in the sun and is completely natural on the back.
Her headdress was customized from fabric soaked in Powertex. Powertex is an environmentally friendly universal medium and sets fabrics so that the headdress also feels as if it were made of stone.
A small metal tree serves as a necklace.
The stone is approx. 11 cm long and approx. 7 cm wide.
In order for Celebrian to stay beautiful for a long time, it should only be decorated indoors.
